Five Reasons Women Should Vote for Romney

During the past eight presidential elections, more eligible female voters than eligible male voters have been present at the polls. It was tough to narrow it down, but here are five reasons for women to cast their votes for Mitt Romney for president on Nov. 6, 2012.

1. Jobs. 12.3 Americans are out of work. During his 2008 campaign, President Obama
promised to create 3.5 million new jobs by 2010. Two years later, he's still five million jobs short of his promise. Unemployment affects men, women and their families. On Obama's watch, a record 25.7 million women are living in poverty. Fire Obama for not keeping his promise. It's time for a new leader. Read Mitt Romney's jobs plan.

2. You're a big girl and you buy your own contraception. I don't believe I'm entitled to birth control pills and I don't think you are either. As a woman, I'm offended by the Obama campaign's attempts distract me with ridiculous celebrity crusades and blatant lies. Get the facts about Planned Parenthood and as Michelle Malkin says, "Vote with your lady smarts, not your lady parts." The democrats expect women to be herded like sheep to their liberal agenda. This disgusting disregard for individuality is reason enough to vote republican.

3. You are entitled to your income. I don't know about you but I get a little sick thinking how much of my income is deducted from my hard-earned salary to support wasteful government spending including failed investments and entitlement programs that keep generations of families on the welfare rolls. Moreover, the redistribution of income in this country brings us ever closer to socialism. Universal healthcare (or Obamacare) is just another nail in that coffin.

4. The deficit. You keep your financial house in order and should expect the same from your elected leaders. Under President Obama, our national debt has grown to an astounding $11.3 trillion. Currently, each American's share of the national debt is $51,000. As a new governor of Massachusettes, Mitt Romney entered office facing a fiscal emergency to the tune of $500 million in the red. Romney took action immediately to rein in spending with dramatic cuts. It's simply irresponsible to spend money you don't have. Which brings me to my next point.

5. Our children will inherit our insurmmountable debt. But that's not all. With four more years of Obama, they'll also inherit a lack of personal responsibility and a false sense of entitlement. On Nov. 6, we have the opportunity to choose a better role model for our children. Romney has been successful in raising a family and running businesses. Massachusettes, where Romney served as governor, has the highest student test scores in the nation. Romney's solution to our failing education system is not to throw money at the problems, but require more accountability and provide parents more choice in K-12 education.
